Translate the request into a selection
“Send me your contact details” usually calls for a name and contact method. “Can I have your business details?” may call for a business name and billing fields. “Send me this property’s details” calls for the selected offering. Each request has a different purpose. Ask for clarification if the recipient’s need is unclear.
Check fields and attachments separately
- Read every selected field in the preview.
- Review each attached document and its contents.
- Use supported masking where a full value is unnecessary.
- Check the recipient, expiry and export choices before creating a link.
Treat sensitive information as a separate decision
Identity, financial, family and health information deserve particular care. Do not include them just because they are already in your workspace. Sharing a licence or KYC document does not verify identity. Confirm the recipient and the purpose using an appropriate independent channel when needed.
Understand copies and revocation
If you paste text into a chat, the recipient receives a copy outside Zprofilez. A recipient may also screenshot a page or keep a permitted download. Revoking a controlled link stops future access through that link; it does not retrieve those copies. Plan the selection with that limit in mind.
Revisit reusable selections
Saved cards and bundles reduce repeated work, but a previous selection may not fit a new person. Preview it again. For example, a work introduction for a new colleague should not inherit sensitive fields that were appropriate in a separate administrative conversation.
